Passing by Piazza Barberini with the Triton Fountain by Bernini, we reach St. Mary Major (visit) the most beautiful Basilica dedicated to Mary Mother of Christ, with gorgeous mosaics and the relics of Jesus cradle. Continue to St. John's in Lateran (visit) cathedral of Rome and first Papal residence with masterpices from Middle Age to Baroque. Stop to the Holy Stairs. Through the first part of the Appian Way, with view at the Domine Quo Vadis Chapel, we reach the Catacombs (Domitilla or St.Callixtus), the ancient underground tunnels, first burial places for Christian and Hebrews. The tour ends with a panoramic view of Caracalla Baths.
